Dawn receives her certified hypnotherapist certification through instructor Claire Tatro and now becomes Dawn Carr, C.Ht. She has the idea for a new radio show called Psychic Stew, but puts it on the back burner when her schedule becomes too busy.
Psychic Medium Dawn Carr, C.Ht. begins her work with the Massachusetts Area Paranormal Society (MAPS) when they contact her to assist with paranormal investigations.

Paranormal TV chooses five psychic mediums across the country for their new mini-series
Real Psychics and sends a film crew from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Massachusetts to film Dawn’s professional life for three days. The resulting footage will be edited into thirteen episodes to debut in early 2009.
The crew from Paranormal TV while filming Psychic Medium Dawn Carr for the television mini-series Real Psychics. Dawn spent the morning conducting animal readings at the Winslow Animal Sanctuary in Norton, Massachusetts. Filmed in October, 2008, it began airing on television in January, 2009.
Dawn begins working in radio as the hosts of The Booth have her on their show every month on AM 1460 WXBR.

Dawn predicts (accurately) on the LIVE radio show Lois on the Line that Hillary Clinton will be selected as the next Secretary of State of the United States. This prediction was made while Hillary was still campaigning for President against Barack Obama. Dawn's prediction came true two months later.

The Kennedy-Donovan Center sponsors a charity event featuring Dawn as the guest performer. This special event was held at the Stoneforge restaurant in Plymouth, Massachusetts. All proceeds went to the Healthy Families program.

Famed civil rights attorney Ron Kuby invites Dawn to be a special guest during the 5:30pm timeslot of his syndicated radio show Doing Time with Ron Kuby. Mr. Kuby spoke with Dawn about her unique gifts and also asked her questions about the economy. Dawn held her own with Ron as they entertained listeners with their conversation.

WBZ-TV Boston airs a spotlight piece entitled Psychic Business Booms During Hard Financial Times featuring Dawn’s work as a psychic medium.
This same week, Dawn travels to Paris, France for her Angels of Dawn in the City of Lights tour, a day after performing at Beech-Nut Baby Food’s company Christmas party in upstate New York.

Dawn and the Massachusetts Area Paranormal Society (M.A.P.S.) investigate boxer Rocky Marciano’s childhood home in Brockton, Massachusetts. The date of the paranormal investigation took place on what would have been Rocky’s 89th birthday. The champ and his mother came through in different parts of the house, as well as previous inhabitants of the property.

While on tour across the southeast and southwest United States, Dawn conducts a light paranormal investigation at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s home, in Memphis, Tennessee. She didn’t see Elvis there, but she did see his mother, Gladys Presley, enamored with the flowers that were springing up on the property. She also noticed his twin brother wandering around the property in spirit. It was an interesting experience.
2016 - 2019
Dawn's work continues to expand as she tours the United States with her special blend of Psychic Stew! With this expansion, Dawn's speaking schedule includes seminars featuring her common sense style of intuition.
